DESCRIPTION:Tonight we are supporting Melbourne's third-best busker in a so
 cial experiment to support the local entertainment industry. Simon has bee
 n organised by Rotarian Jen Marshal. Simon's livelihood as an entertainer 
 has been cut short due to COVID restrictions. He is charging a fee to perf
 orm for us and give us an insight into the entertainment industry. There w
 ill be an opportunity to throw a few dollars towards Simon's performance.

 n singer/songwriter Simon Paparo has been unleashing his beautiful music o
 n the Australian music scene relentlessly. From and early age Simon has be
 en carving his own songs and covering others with a fresh energy and raw p
 assion that secures his audience their seats.  With shades of such lumina
 ries as Dustin Tebutt and Boy & Bear\, Simon is emerging as the new Austr
 alian voice since his live debut in Sydney. Now residing in Melbourne his 
 musical journey continues with new tracks ready for his latest audience. 
  Paparo’s passion for acoustic guitar is undeniable although his talent
 s stretch to include guitar\, harmonica\, mandolin\, bass\, keys and drums
 . With a musical style that teeters between alternative folk\, blues\, cou
 ntry and pop\, his influences include Lisa Mitchell\, Vance Joy\, Boy & Be
 ar and City and Colour. He is known to woo a crowd in moments and is a str
 ong melodic performer with a captivating vocal delivery of intelligent lyr

 nished 3rd in “Melbourne’s best busker” with an article in the Hera
 ld Sun and played live on 3AW Melbourne. He has also been interviewed/perf
 ormed live on ABC Melbourne 774 and Triple R. He was in the Australian fin
 al of Emergenza band competition with his ex-band The Drifting at The Me
 tro\, in Sydney and released an EP with the Drifting\, which was played on
  Rage and Triple J. Simon is also a producer and score composer. He works 
 with Australian and international-based artists to record their music at h
 is studio\, Four Doors Studios.
