Rotary International Student Exchange Program Congratulations to Tara, our outbound exchange student. Tara, along with the other Rotary District 9820 students received their blazers, badges and other goodies at a briefing on Saturday 8 December, in Mornington. Proud families and Rotarians heard their presentations and their hopes for the coming year. Tara will be a great ambassador for not only our club, but for Rotary International and Australia, during her year living in America. Rotary Youth Science Forum (RYSF) Our sponsored student, Upani Mapala-Gamez, has now received her draft itinery and travel details for the National Youth Science Forum, to be held in Brisbane from 9 - 20 January 2019. She expects to receive the final information next week and is really looking forward to the experience. We will have a presentation from Upani early next year about her experience in the program and its' outcomes. Berwick & District Benevolent Society On Sunday 9 December, David Collyer, Bob Lay AM and Sam McCurdy attended a service at the Cardinia Presbyterian Church. The small church was packed for the service, which had a Christmas theme. The congregation support the "Society's" community activities by providing a generous donation at this time each year. This year was no exception with David being presented with a donation of approximately $1,850. In response, David thanked the congregation for their generousity and continued support. 2019 Multi-District Conference Registrations for the first ever Victorian Multi-District Conference are going well.
