When the Rotary Down Under Editor calls for Public Image stories from our District 9820, what do you do?

Our club has been doing a terrific job presenting itself as unified and identifiable. Almost every member wears polo tops and caps when we are out on a project. It is an important marketing principle that when you want people to know what you do, you need to be seen and recognised first. There have been many occasions where random public members make an effort to stop and chat, wanting to know what Rotary does. Our uniform and signage symbolise community connection and the power of individuals coming together to make a difference. Our visibility as a group has instilled a sense of pride in our work and a bit of collective strength and set an example to anyone who would like to join us.

With all this in mind,  Public Image extraordinaire Jane Moore set to work to capture some of our Public Image essence so that our Club could be represented on the pages of RDU. Known for her thoroughness and dedication, Jane meticulously compiled the necessary materials for publication and promptly submitted them for consideration.

I am very pleased to report that our club has made it to the centrefold in the April 2024 edition of RDU. Thank you, Jane, for your dedication to getting it into print, but a big thank you to the whole club, which has embraced the importance of unity, visibility, and connection with all Rotarians worldwide.
