Rotarian Jane Moore wonders if anyone in the Club would find this conference interesting. Having had the privilege of attending this national conference for 9 years now, she can say it’s truly inspirational and heaps of fun for any member at any level - and a chance this time to visit Christchurch?

Join us in mid-September in Christchurch, where you will be able to experience the city and environs at the beginning of Spring, as it emerges in the continuing process of ‘Regeneration’.
We encourage you all to come early and perhaps stay later than the Conference, which commences on the afternoon of Friday 20th and finishes by 1pm on the Sunday the 22nd September.
A variety of field trips, seminars and symposiums will be available commencing on Wednesday morning 18th September, preceding the Conference opening on the afternoon of Friday 20th September 2019.
At present it is a hive of work in progress so that the venue will be ready and prepared to showcase the considerable upgrades that have taken place in the $150mill refurbishment post-earthquakes and the decision that this iconic building be retained by the city.
Our programme of interesting and relevant speakers for the Conference is evolving based around the Conference theme of ‘Regeneration’, both in the context of our city and parallels to Rotary service in its relevance to today’s changing and exciting world.
We expect to have Registrations open by the time of our next newsletter at the end of February.
