Rotary Health Hat Day is on 10th October and we should contribute towards the great work that Australian Rotary Health does for our community. Mental Health is a part of every person's life.
At THIS week's meeting, 13th October we are asking all members to wear a funny hat and contribute a $5 donation for the privilege, OR go Commando (ie no Hat) and contribute $10 towards the great work Australian Rotary Health does. Your donation will be added to your Club account, since we are stuck on Zoom. If you do not wish to donate to Australian Rotary Health, please let Treasurer Wendy know by emailing Wendy at treasurer@rotaryberwick.org
Australian Rotary Health is one of the largest independent funders of mental health research within Australia.
We also provide funding into a broad range of general health areas, provide scholarships for rural medical and nursing students, as well as Indigenous health students. Australian Rotary Health provides funding into areas of health that do not readily attract funding, and promotes findings to the community.
Australian Rotary Health is a project of the Rotary Districts of Australia and is supported by Rotary Clubs. We have a broad vision to improve the health and wellbeing of all Australians.
Australian Rotary Health will celebrate Hat Day on Sunday 10th October with a FREE online webinar featuring a panel of mental health researchers. You're welcome to join us or host your own party with your Rotary Club, friends or colleagues.

As a postscript, ARH worked closely with RC Berwick to run our Youth Mental Health Forum in 2015. We were provided three high profile speakers, Dr Claire Kelly, Associate Professor Felice Jacka and Michael Carr Gregg free of charge. Australian Rotary Health is a serious force in the community and an asset to Rotary.
