This week's meeting:
Thank you to Funno for being the first member to take on the role of Fellowship. I heard he greeted our members and guests in a friendly, welcoming and professional manner. I trust there was no mischief that needed to be reported...
This week we learnt about the importance of our lymphatic system from Upper Beaconsfield local and lymphologist Michelle Richardson. Michelle told us many stories about helping people regain their health and answered our many questions.
Reminders:
You have 2 more weeks to bring in your unused winter coats for our winter coat drive for Casey North Community Informations Support Services. Please give your coats to Wendy.
For those that put their hand up to help this Sunday at the St John of God working bee, please remember work clothes and boots, including high visibility vests and gloves. Please park on Kangan Drive, and see you at 9am for the site induction.
Don't forget to register yourself, friends and family for our Rotary Tree Planting event on Sunday 10th August.
Next week's meeting:
Next week Russell Hayes and Grant Klaaysen from Wheelchairs for Kids will be telling us about this volunteer-based not-for-profit organisation providing the transformative gift of mobility to children in impoverished and under-resourced communities both in Australia and around the globe.
Chairperson: Terry Pollock
