Welcome to our vibrant and relaxed Rotary Club, where community spirit thrives alongside a sense of ease and camaraderie. Picture a place where laughter mingles with purpose and friendships are forged through shared experiences and meaningful endeavours.
What a fantastic event we had on Sunday at the tree planting day. We were joined by members from the Rotary Clubs of Springvale City, Casey and Bayswater, as well as the Rotaract Clubs of Casey-Cardinia and Monash. The weather was perfect while we planted an amazing 2,600 plants to create habitat for wildlife including the endangered southern brown bandicoot, beautifying a power line easement and increasing Casey's tree canopy.
A big thank you to the following:
Jack for organsing the BBQ
Funno and Jill for bringing the drinks and providing kid rides in the back of the ute
Penny and Dave for taking lots of photos to capture the day
Di and Geoff for towing the BBQ
All the members that attended on the day to help out. I hope you are all enjoying a quiet night off this week.
Reminders:
Please put your name in the spreadsheet if you are able to help out at Nossal High's Mock Interviews on Thursday 21st August. Any questions please contact Di Scheepers.
