President's Ramblings
Hello,

Last Week
What a great week we had on Wednesday, with a wonderful trip down memory lane. Funno our local historian showed us into the Funston Family and their life in Berwick. The photos showing the progress of Berwick from farms to what it is today, it was truly amazing to see the change. With a full room of Rotarians and guests it was a great way to finish the year off.

Trevor told us about his recent challenge, to walk 10,000 steps around senior football grounds all over Melbourne. His most recent ground was the MCG!! Trev is doing this as a fundraiser for fight MND, please support Trevor's cause, the link is below. I am also delighted to say that as Trevor was the sagent last year, the sargents fines session money was donated on behalf of the club to fight MND.

On Tuesday I attended Operation Newstart Casey for the next intakes graduation. It was an extra special event as PP Leanne Byron recognised program manager Jimmy Seeary with a Paul Harris Fellow. A recognition very well deserved for the difference he has made in many young people's lives.

Next Week
It's time to celebrate at Shanikas Pakenham for a delicious dinner. We are looking forward to celebrating the end of 2025 and a wonderful year in Rotary.

Next Year
It's time to take a well earned break over summer, please put in your diaries Kraan BBQ will be on Wednesday 21 January and we will be cleaning up the Berwick Cemetery on the 28 January. More details to come out next year.

Thanks

Jen
