The Rotary Club of Berwick is delighted to welcome Farrah Buckland to speak about the inspiring work of the Caroline Chisholm Education Foundation.
The Club already shares a strong connection with the Foundation through the Violence Free Families project. Our own member, PP David Button, serves as a Trustee of the Foundation and has witnessed firsthand the many life-changing success stories, along with the challenges and complexities involved in running an organisation dedicated to creating opportunities for those most in need.
The Caroline Chisholm Education Foundation supports students experiencing financial hardship by providing scholarships and practical assistance that enable access to vocational education and training. These opportunities can transform lives, strengthen families, and create brighter futures across Melbourne’s south-east. Importantly, 100% of donated funds go directly to supporting students.
Farrah’s presentation will share powerful stories of resilience, empowerment, and community impact, highlighting how education can open doors and change lives. This meeting aligns strongly with Rotary’s values of service, opportunity, and investing in future generations.
