Balibo Timor-Leste - Joint Meeting with Pakenham

At this joint meeting with RC Pakenham, we will hear a presentation from Rino Fernandes who was the guide when a number of Berwick members visited Balibo in Timor-Leste in 2018. Our club has a long history doing projects in the Balibo District in conjunction with other clubs including Pakenham, Keilor, and South Melbourne. A Dental Clinic, School books/stationary and furniture, Conference Centre and an interest in school rebuilds have been our main interest. 

Rino has been a major player in getting these projects up and co-ordinated and he is currently involved with Disaster Aid Australia getting a few SkyHydrants into place in the Balibo District. 

Note this meeting is on Tuesday night and replaces our regular Wednesday night meeting.
