October 25th - Lunch at Marengo Redoubt Winery

On Sunday 25^th October, we have the opportunity to enjoy a leisurely Sunday lunch at Marengo Redoubt, a small winery in Moorooduc, owned by Rotarians Ros and Andy Thompson from the Rotary Club of Noble Park.  

Some of you may remember going to their winery many years ago (I think it was the hottest summer day on record, and we all sweltered by the pool). Andy spoke to us about bee keeping and some of us even got to ‘suit up’ and get up close to his bee hives. It was a great day and their catering and wines were amazing!

Over the years, a number of Rotarians, including some of our members, have also volunteered each year, to help with the grape harvest. 

Ros and Andy are going to put on a special lunch for us, complete with some of their lovely wines, for the cost of $40pp.

Please book in by letting President Di know, as they will need definite number for catering purposes. Payment will need to be made on the day. Bottles of wine to take home will also be available for purchase on the day.

Note: There is no meeting this coming wednesday (Nov28th) due to this event and the Zone conference the following weekend.
